The Opportunity

The Director of Digital Programs orchestrates the execution of our Digital strategy across stakeholder groups in the company and specifically leads our in-stay portfolio. Overseeing the key intake and evaluation of processes for Digital work this leader blends program oversight with guidance from stakeholders across commercial services. This leader will manage project orchestration for key initiatives, assess technology and deployment dependencies, logical planning moves across larger company-wide initiatives, and optimize our delivery and execution using agile and scrum techniques. The role closely partners with the overarching Commercial Services PM function and is deeply embedded in day-to-day planning sessions, deployment, and stakeholder communication and management.


The Role

•Lead Hyatt’s overall strategic digital planning and PMO by bringing together Business SMEs, Product Owners, Design, Engineering, Content & Merchandising, Finance, and partner leaders to align on prioritized, outcome-driven multi-year action plans.

•Manage Program Oversight function for digital staying highly coordinated with associated PMO functions across the company, laddering up into PM for CS.

•Orchestrate roadmap execution work for large /critical initiatives enhancing the Member and Guest experiences within Digital platforms such as Hyatt.com, the World of Hyatt mobile app, and WeChat mini program with dependencies across multiple Hyatt and third-party teams within and outside Digital.

•Serve as the central communication hub for leadership stakeholders to engage with on status and input including establishing and leading steering committees and freeing product and engineering resources to focus on build and delivery as much as possible.

•Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic delivery excellence across the company and ensuring the successful “end-to-end” delivery of projects and programs.

•Create and own the summary KPI/OKR dashboard for all Digital programs/projects.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

•15+ years of experience in overall digital experience (plus iOS experience) with 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including significant experience in leading through influence

•Significant experience facilitating complex large-scale strategic planning for digital-based investments with a focus on outcome-oriented planning

•Solid understanding of digital production workflow in an agile environment

•Experience operationalizing standard processes around project intake & prioritization with the ability to orchestrate cross-functional buy-in

•Ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics, and address implementation obstacles

•Ability to work with and properly relay information to both business and technical partners.

•Highly motivated, assertive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as an active team participant and cross-functional collaborator

•Experience establishing a culture of data-informed decision making and accountability

•Exceptional communication skills able to tell data stories to business stakeholders and answer what happened, why, and so what

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
