Position Overview
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Navistar's OMDP emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. You will have the chance to work alongside talented professionals from various disciplines, building strong relationships and expanding your professional network. - Mentorship and Executive Sponsorship: Throughout the program, you will be paired with experienced mentors and an Executive Sponsor, who will provide guidance, support, and valuable insights into their respective areas of expertise. These mentors will serve as your trusted advisors, helping you navigate challenges, make informed career decisions, and unlock your full potential.
- Rotational Assignments: Over the course of your 2 years in the program, you will engage in a series of well-structured 6 month rotations across key departments such as engineering, manufacturing, program management, materials management, purchasing and supply chain/logistics. These diverse assignments will provide you with an in-depth understanding of our business operations and enable you to develop a holistic perspective on the commercial vehicle industry.
- Challenging Projects: You will be entrusted with real-world projects that directly impact the success of our organization. Working alongside experienced professionals and mentors, you will tackle complex challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions. This hands-on experience will sharpen your leadership and problem-solving skills that will drive tangible results.

Through a combination of formal training, mentorship programs and access to your executive sponsor, you will enhance your technical expertise and leadership capabilities. You will also participate in skill-building workshops, attend industry conferences, and have opportunities to earn certifications, empowering you to excel in your future career endeavors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Transportation, Logistics, or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Bachelor's Degree in progress in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Transportation, Logistics, or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willing to relocate
- Strong academic track record and a passion for excellence
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to work effectively in teams
- Ability to travel – up to 30%
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing)
