$125-160k plus bonus potential. Cotopaxi is on the hunt for a Director of US Wholesale that will lead our organization to develop and execute the wholesale strategy in the United States. This person will lead and manage a team of sales professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals, optimize sales processes, and grow market share. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Do It): Develop and implement an effective wholesale sales strategy for the US market. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective wholesale partners. Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align on key initiatives and achieve sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting. Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize sales and profitability. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. The Ideal Candidate (What You Need to Succeed): A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of experience in wholesale sales, preferably in a leadership role at a comparable brand. A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the US market. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with the retail industry and current market trends. Requirements Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
