Job Description

Job Summary

The Director of Hourly Hiring contributes a high level of specialized knowledge, skill, and consultative leadership in talent acquisition, focused on helping our portfolio of brands make great hires who can deliver a unique guest experience. The successful candidate will manage a team of recruiters as well as a portfolio of projects designed to increase organizational speed, quality of hire, and agility related to hourly hiring.



Specific Expected Contributions

  • Prioritize and monitor compliance and audit activities to ensure risk is appropriately managed within the recruiting team.
  • Align recruiting technology to process to drive efficiency and maximize results.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, HR, and/or regional leaders to identify talent needs and develop effective hourly recruitment strategies. Lead efforts to attract top talent by utilizing various sourcing channels, implementing best practices, and utilizing people’s brand assets. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline by developing internal talent and implementing strategies for attracting external talent.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor talent metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of hourly hiring initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on key talent metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coach, develop, and manage the performance of evolving team of recruiting professionals with a structure to meet global recruiting needs. Create a shared vision amongst the team, communicate company and departmental goals, and align resources to achieve goals accordingly. Build associate capability (business acumen, collaboration, and influencing skills) and create a strong sense of team unity and engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in hourly hiring. Apply new insights to continuously improve talent acquisition strategies and programs.
  • Create and provide a high caliber and consistent experience for both hiring manager and candidate throughout the process inclusive of sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Other focus points as assigned by supervisor.
  • Manage external recruitment spending to maximize efficiency, ensure spending impacts areas of biggest need, and track and report accordingly.


Experience, Education, and Attributes

  • 7+ years of proven experience in talent acquisition with roles of progressive responsibility. Demonstrated understanding of talent acquisition best practices and industry trends
  • Evidence of exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate, develop, and manage the performance of a team of professionals.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with high-volume, hourly, multi-location recruitment.
  • Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence across the organization.
  • High tolerance for change, fast pace, and need for urgency.
