The Team You’ll Work With …

We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Director to join our team. You will be part of our team that produces the world’s most beautiful tile and sells it directly to our residential and commercial clients. We have grown substantially, and this is the first time we are hiring for this role and are excited for someone to join us and organize a number of teams and functions under one leader. You will work out of our Aromas, CA location with travel to our Spokane, WA factory and other locations in the US as needed (travel is 10-20% of the time). In this role you will report to the CEO. The pay range for this position is between $130,000-150,000 dependent on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and stock options.

Opportunities You’ll Have …

• Oversee a full review of all packaging for superior performance, sustainability, and efficiency
• Tread Lightly on the Earth
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations
• Conduct regular vendor supply risk assessments, proposing and implementing appropriate risk mitigations
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality
• Manage a team of 20+ individuals across our facilities in Aromas, CA and Spokane, WA

• Manage our 3PL partnership and ensure successful inbound and outbound shipping, which together account for over $4M+ in annual spend

• Oversee all aspects of supply chain management, including logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, sampling, packaging, inventory, and purchasing operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from every department to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement
• Serve as a Fireclay Tile Brand Ambassador, representing our core values including:
• Manage forecasting and purchasing for raw materials and manufacturing-related materials, totaling $7M+ in responsibility per year and growing

About You …

• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a management role. Experience with manufacturing businesses preferred
• Drive continuous process improvement throughout the supply chain team, identifying and prioritizing proposed improvements, aligning senior management on the changes, and measuring and communicating their business impact and effectiveness
• B.A. in supply chain management, logistics, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
• Technology fluent across ERPs, CRMs, inventory management systems with strong experience both procuring and developing custom supply chain software. We have a variety of tools we use, many of which we customized in house, so flexibility and adaptability will be important, with an eye on the future and where we want to go
• A self-starter with a willingness to take ownership of their work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven success in logistics, warehousing, sampling, packaging, inventory, and purchasing operations, including a demonstrated success in managing 3PL partnerships and inbound/outbound shipping operations
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are able to develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Have excellent communication and leadership skills and are able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
