Director Of Strategic Finance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Strategic Finance to lead the financial strategy for our organization. The Director of Strategic Finance will work collaboratively across the organization to drive strategic analysis, identify new opportunities for growth, and use complex financial modeling to enable more informed decisions.

Essential Job functions:

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support critical business decisions by senior management and board of directors.
• Support Business Development and Corporate Development to evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
• Identify and manage financial risks.
• Partner with other functional areas to provide financial insights and recommendations, and establish strong business partner relationships.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's strategic plan.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on business needs.
• Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals.
• Support the budget process where needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial policies.
• Monitor monthly financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement in partnership with Finance Business Leads.

Key Competencies:

• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
• 7+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a finance leadership role.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare clients preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:

• BA/BS degree required - MBA or Banking / Management Consulting experience preferred.
• 7+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a finance leadership role.
• Understanding of Fee-for-Service and Value-Based-Care healthcare finance terminology preferred
• Experience with big data analytic tools (e.g., Alteryx) preferred but not required.

Travel:

• Limited - occasional travel to various site locations in NY and NJ may be requested
