Position:

Lyric is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our leadership team as the Senior Director of Strategic Finance. In this dual-report role, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development to drive financial strategies that support our mission of simplifying the business of healthcare. With over 10 years of proven experience in strategic finance and a strong track record of leadership, the successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our company.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy Development: Collaborate with the CFO to formulate and execute Lyric's financial strategy, aligning financial goals with our business mission and objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with business initiatives for M&A and partner related strategies, supporting functional leaders with financial insights.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development of financial forecasts, long-range plans, and scenario analyses to inform strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify financial risks and opportunities, propose strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on growth prospects.
  • Interact with TPG and other third party entities providing input into overall business performance and strategy as well as provide specialized reporting as needed.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Contribute to the evaluation and due diligence of potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals as needed, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop complex financial models to assess investment opportunities, partner pricing strategies, and potential strategy business scenarios.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key financial performance indicators related to partnership adoptions, tracking and analyzing financial performance to provide actionable insights to leadership.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, including financial due diligence.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with a focus on strategic finance, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and develop finance teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing financial strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.


Travel: 0-25%, for internal meetings broader Finance team and business leaders.

The applicable base pay for your state is listed below. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The base pay range for this position is $190,000 - $240,000.
