Director Of Strategic Communications

The ideal candidate would have existing communications experience, a comprehensive knowledge of communications in both digital and print, and a comprehensive knowledge of brand management. They will coordinate through the executive team and external advisors to write and design deliverables as needed and interact with the company's media communications firm on a regular basis. This role is to help develop the in-house communications team over the long-term.

Objectives of this Role

• Compose and disseminate internal communications content, including the monthly newsletter, company-wide emails, and other company campaigns.
• Support, implement, and enforce brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
• Assist executives with the preparation of talking points and materials for conferences and other presentations.
• Manage social media presence, including our YouTube channel, in both content and messaging strategies.
• Support HR and planning committees with creative, branding and design materials for seasonal events/initiatives.
• Manage updates to the company's internal and external websites including content publishing, search ranking strategies (SEO) and new messaging opportunities.
• Design creative for key company documents, including our ESG report, quarterly town hall materials, investor decks, and annual initiatives & imperatives campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Communications experience preferred, experience with the energy industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
• Successful track record in senior communications roles and creating communications campaigns.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Self-starter and able to envision and execute on plans.
• Desire to grow professionally with ongoing education.
• Established portfolio of media contacts.
• Experience with digital and print communications, content creation and direction, and social media interaction.
