Job Description

Position Summary:


ALP Industries LLC is a nationwide company with 16 sales offices located in the Eastern and Western United States and looking for a Director of Sales to join the team. We are an industrial distributor specializing in lifting products to help build America. Our customers include elevator manufacturers, heavy construction companies, site developers and bridge builders. ALP is a division of Lift Solutions Holdings, LLC.


The Director of Sales will oversee sales professionals in the northern region and will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing sales team within a defined region to drive revenue growth, to achieve sales quotas, and to integrate new business units.



Duties & Responsibilities:


· Communicate Lift Solutions Holdings vision, business plans, and organizational updates to the sales team.

· Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

· Has a growth mindset and collaborates across teams effectively to constantly seek new business opportunities from new and existing customers.

· Recruit, interview, and select talent to build a high-preforming sales team.

· Ensure sales team alignment with compliance training, equipment safety, sales, and other soft skills training.

· Represent as a leader in fostering company’s enterprise approach to align with joint sales activities with the company’s other business units when possible.

· Collaborate with other departments to analyze areas of improvement for exceptional customer experience.

· Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, driving their success in selling.

· Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

· Develop cross-selling and expanding product offerings.




Qualifications:


· 4+ years sales management experience with ability to manage challenges and oversee employees.

· Private Equity experience preferred.

· Experience in Industrial/ and or Construction industries supporting multiple locations/ branches.

· Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide a sales team.

· Proven sales hunting and closing skills, with the ability to motivate to overcome resistance and objections.

· Strong written and verbal skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions.

· Highly effective organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.

· Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.

· Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact positively with all employees.

· Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

· Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.


Education:


· Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or experience in a related field preferred.

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional trade associations.

· Proficient with computer software applications such CRM, MS Office Suite.
