Job Description

Position Overview:As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for managing, training, and mentoring a high performing sales team. You’ll evaluate current sales processes to identify opportunities for improvement and build and drive a process-driven strategy to meet and exceed company goals. This is a key leadership role reporting to the President and responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing all aspects of the sales function.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Monitoring sales performance against targets, analyzing variances, and recommending adjustments as needed to achieve financial objectives.
  • Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and formulate effective strategies .
  • Leading, inspiring and motivating the sales team, providing clear direction, setting performance targets, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to expand market presence, maximize sales opportunities, and achieve revenue targets .
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the markets we serve.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, and finance, to ensure alignment and maximize business outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong leader with creative, strategic, and financial acumen.
  • Results-oriented leader who is self-motivated, energetic and committed to achieving success.
  • A strategic thinker capable of building innovative sales models with the tactical ability to execute.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ sales and sales management experience with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Must have experience in the janitorial, sanitation or carwash industry, preferably with a chemical manufacturer or distributor.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, build, mentor and direct a high-performing, cohesive sales team with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth expectations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • This position can work remotely within reasonable driving distance from our offices in Warsaw, Indiana. There is an expectation to be in the office 1-2 times each week.
