Position: Director of Housing Programs
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our public and affordable housing programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
- Develop and implement strategies for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of housing programs
- Lead and inspire a team of housing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support
- Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders to identify housing needs and develop innovative solutions
- Monitor budget allocations, funding sources, and financial performance of housing programs
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on housing policies, regulations, and best practices
- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public and affordable housing management or a related field
- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving positive results
- In-depth knowledge of relevant housing regulations, policies, and funding sources
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Passionate about creating affordable housing opportunities and improving community well-being
