Your role at Clorox:

As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of 20 individuals who are focused on strategically leading and sourcing External Manufacturing technologies. Your main objective will be to coach your team to deliver ground-breaking value throughout the entire sourcing cycle, including category strategy, supplier relationship management, supply assurance, cost savings, supplier diversity, innovation strategy, sustainability, and sourcing excellence.

Additionally, you will lead all aspects of more than 140 converters across North America, Latam, and Amea/Asia and will be responsible for integrating sustainability initiatives and creating and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies. Your role will also involve leading resources across various spending categories globally and working with the Procurement LT to implement global strategic sourcing policies and best practices.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with operations to deliver value and lead margin transformation improvements across the supply base.

In this role, you will:

• Supports responsible sourcing team and supports comprehensive strategies to deliver corporate sustainability commitments including Scope-3 GHG reductions with our suppliers.
• Define and implement best practices across supported categories and teams
• Drive strategic sourcing activities across different ($0.8Bn, ~18% of total Clorox spend) and 140 suppliers
• Assist CPO with setting Clorox wide sourcing strategy and ensuring procurement activities are aligned.
• Deliver value creation, cost reduction, and margin transformation targets for supported spend areas and across the enterprise
• Work seamlessly with operations and cultivate key supplier relationships

What we look for:

• Experience in consumer-packaged goods industry is preferred
• Outstanding coaching skills
• Sourcing knowledge and experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred
• Demonstrated experience driving positive results through large teams (20 people) in a challenging and fast-paced environment
• Ability to synthesize data and ascertain key insights to drive differential value
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to develop and implement key strategic initiatives
• Able to build and develop positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
• 10+ years of supply chain experience in a global, matrixed environment (Sourcing experience preferred)
• 8+ years of people management experience
• Spanish - Native or bilingual proficiency is HIGHLY preferred
• Understanding and experience with complex sourcing tools and methodologies, including hedging

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $167,500 - $345,100

–Zone B: $153,600 - $316,300

–Zone C: $139,600 - $287,600
