Plant & External Manufacturing Engagement

  • For materials shared across multiple plants, coordinate with peer sites all aspects of supply (e.g., volume forecast, allocation, supplier performance tracking, etc.)
  • Maintain open communication with plant or EM personnel (e.g., Business Support Mgr., Material Coordinator, Prod Planner) on material availability and supplier performance. Seek plant and EM input to set master data parameters.
  • Primary contact for EMs to resolve business related questions, co-investment support, and long-range planning.
  • Support site-level issue resolution, escalate to GSS and GQA as needed

Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure MM&P processes abidance across the network (i.e., Prod Scheduling, GSS, QA, etc.), and conduct training, as needed
  • Ensure appropriate MM&P resourcing across raw, pack and WIP
  • Monitor performance metrics for materials planning related metrics across sites (e.g., usage vs. BOM/contract, OEE and customer service level impact from lack of materials availability) as well as EM supplier metrics (e.g., including production schedule adherence, cost, and savings opportunities delivery)
  • Identify and lead implementation of materials planning and production improvement opportunities and chronic issues/losses, including potential opportunities in collaboration with external partners

What we look for:
