Director Of Operations - Turnaround Opportunity

We are currently engaged with one of the nation’s leading packaging manufacturers and a global leading Pulp and Paper organization that is backed by one of the largest privately held organizations in the United States. They are in search for a Plant Leader to take responsibility and lead operations for the highly critical site that is going through a transformation.

With a manufacturing network spanning the United States, their packaging solutions meet you where you are. Their corrugated operations are intentionally placed throughout the U.S. and Mexico to best serve their customers. They are looking for someone who is a highly motivated and driven leader with strong experience in change management and a proven track record of implementing structure and processes into a high-growth facility.

Key responsibilities:

• Experience with overall manufacturing operations
• Experience creating long term value from P&L management
• Ability to define and implement strategic ideas to reach operational goals
• Advance their Market Based Management culture to drive long-term value creation
• Collaborate cross functionally on continuous improvement projects
• Ability to mentor and coach direct reports

Experience:

• Sales experience in the consumer good space
• Leadership experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Experience with change management initiatives
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study
• 7+ years of managerial experience
