- Work thru the Global Sourcing and SIOP teams to develop and execute operations plans to ensure customer service and supply objectives are met.
- Establish regular review for key initiatives and utilize strategic/formal problem solving to address concerns.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, Masonite Continuous Improvement, HR, and Finance in driving/supporting business-level strategic activity & investments.
- Lead Operations team activity in the AOP business planning and budgeting process (Financial & Capital).
- Ensure the effective operation and budget conformance of assigned Plants by leading the weekly and monthly scorecard review cadence.
- Support NPI project activities to ensure successful and timely implementation.
- Create, drive and sustain a culture that promotes employee engagement and participation that supports Masonite’s objectives.
- Support and implement the organizations talent management process. Develop talent at the plants to maintain and grow technical capabilities through succession planning.
- Drive adherence to Masonite’s lean manufacturing processes in organizational design, lean management system, and usage of lean tools. The lean management system includes Leader Standard Work, Daily Accountability Process, Visual Controls, and Escalation / Communication processes.
- Review financial statements, sales and capacity reports, and other performance data to ensure conformance to plan. Where gaps exist identify and implement the necessary adjustments as corrective actions.
- Hands on experience with Lean & Six Sigma concepts and applications
- Change management leader who demonstrates our company’s Cultural Pillars and able to drive the Lean culture across the organization.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and lead effectively own team as well as cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Functional knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Supply Chain Management
- Analytically minded, data-driven, strong problem solving and project management skills to lead in difficult decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead, influence, mentor, coach and motivate at all levels of the organization.
- Able to travel 75%
- Plant Process, Automation & Maintenance Engineering experiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and in-depth experience utilizing manufacturing software.
- Ten plus years in a Lean manufacturing environment required.
- Previous P & L experience required.
- BS in Engineering desired; MS or MBA a plus
