Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize our operational processes across all aspects of our global AI services company. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, project management, and resource allocation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in scaling our business operations around the world while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:


  • Collaborate with the executive team to define operational goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.


Operational Excellence:


  • Streamline and optimize end-to-end operational processes, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and scalability.


Project Management:


  • Ensure projects are executed within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the project management function, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress.
  • Mitigate risks and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that arise during project execution.


Team Leadership:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and sales, to drive collaboration and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operational professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and accountability.


Vendor and Partner Management:


  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring the procurement of necessary resources and services to support operations.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize value and quality.


Data Analysis and Reporting:


  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to the executive team.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in operations management, in an AI or services company (Must have)
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing operational processes and driving efficiency.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in project management, including managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications.
  • Experience in vendor and partner management is a plus.
