THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
In this role, you will be responsible for leading our client's marketing and communications efforts across all channels, including digital, print, and social media. You will also be responsible for building and managing our client's marketing team, and for developing and executing their marketing strategy and brand voice. Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about our mission of making home ownership intuitive, easy, and flexible, while also providing best-in-class service and tooling for our clients. They are obsessive about simplifying the homeownership journey. They are looking for a team member who can help them continue their path to becoming thought leaders in the field by generating content for trade publications, social media, and conferences.
What You’ll Be Working On
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a cross-functional environment and will be able to build relationships with people from different departments. This role will have a major impact on the organization, as it will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy that will help us to achieve our business goals.
Candidate Background:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on content and creativity. They will have experience in a content strategy or creative/copy role and will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing campaigns. Agency experience is a plus, as the ideal candidate will be conditioned to tackling multiple client challenges, juggling deadlines, and having general depth and breadth. B2B experience is also important, as the ideal candidate will be able to understand the needs of our target audience and develop marketing campaigns that resonate with them.
The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and qualities:
  • Passion for marketing and for the mortgage industry
  • Strong strategic and creative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What You'll Be Working On: As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Measuring the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and making adjustments as needed
  • Developing and executing marketing programs that will help us to retain our existing customers
  • Managing our social media presence and creating content that will engage our audience
  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns that educate consumers about the mortgage servicing process and the benefits of working with our company
  • Building and managing our marketing team
  • Developing and implementing a content strategy that will help us to build our brand and attract new clients
  • Executing our marketing strategy and brand voice
  • Developing and executing marketing programs that will help us to attract new customers and retain our existing customers
  • Partnering with other departments to ensure that our marketing efforts are integrated with our business development, operational, and customer service efforts
  • Creating content that will help us to build trust and credibility with our customers
  • Managing our social media presence and creating content that will engage our customers and answer their questions
  • Leading our marketing and communications efforts across all channels, including digital, print, and social media
