Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Director of Manufacturing

Responsibilities

The Director of Manufacturing is a senior role which involves overseeing the production of goods and/or services. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling all the resources needed to produce the company's goods and services. The Operations Manager ensures an organization is running as efficiently as possible to meet the expectations and maximize the profit of the organization

Job Duties

• Create strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and ensure warehouse efficiency
• Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives
• Recruit, train, supervise employees
• Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and market shares, including improving design and functionality
• Direct all manufacturing operations
• Prioritize and resource benchmarking activities and participates in best practice sharing internally and externally to drive competitive advantage
• Monitor existing processes and equipment and analyze their effectiveness
• Addresses customers’ and employees’ concerns
• Develop plans for all aspects of production including equipment purchases, staffing needs, work schedules, and material requirements
• Designing and implementing new manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Estimating the time and cost needed to complete projects or milestones and adjusting them as needed
• Monitoring the performance of all operations within the facility
• Ensure that all products are manufactured in a cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Conduct weekly production meetings with necessary members of management/CEO

Requirements

• Analytic capabilities/understanding of process
• Coordination of processes and their implementation
• Firm understanding of a manufacturing process environment
• Ability to use technology to improve efficiencies and profitability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational abilities. Organizing processes in an organization from planning and prioritizing through execution to monitoring
• Proven ability to work efficiently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Continuous performance to meet company goals and expectations
