Job Description

Eurofins Donor & Product Testing is the Pre-Transplant Testing division of Eurofins, committed to servicing the transplant and medical community with regional, high complexity testing solutions. Headquartered near Denver, Colorado, with ten satellite laboratories across the United States, including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Hawaii, Eurofins DPT is continuing to expand throughout the United States and is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Director of Finance to work in Centennial, CO.

The Director of Finance is an integral part of the leadership team and will be managing all financial aspects of the business, including corporate accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.  This candidate is a hands-on manager and collaborates with all departments to track operational performance, develop short and long-range budgets and forecasts, as well as develop internal controls, policies, and procedures. 


Director of Finance responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
 

  • Function as a business partner to the President and senior leadership team in developing and executing the business strategy
  • Enhance, develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company
  • Manage the development and evaluation of the operational plan, long-term strategic outlook, and short-term forecasts
  • Supervision of accounting department
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, oversee year-end close, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
  • Provide financial analysis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract review
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of potential acquisitions and/or mergers
  • Provide financial analysis on product cost modeling and margin performance
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges


  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • A strong attention to detail, organized work style, ability to follow through on work assignments independently, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • 6+ years of senior-level leadership experience in accounting or finance, financial reporting and management
  • Experience in GAAP and non-GAAP reporting; knowledge and aptitude for current regulatory and compliance practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to navigate and resolve conflict in a manner that values and respects relationships
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, technology, and communication skills
  • A personal commitment to organizational excellence; honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Demonstrated strong financial planning and analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge of project-based accounting

This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, with overtime, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Centennial, CO are encouraged to apply.
