Opportunity

We are currently seeking an IT Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the IT Operations at a Health System / Hospital, with an emphasis on EHR experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a high-growth company and play a key role in contributing to the overall structure and expansion of the IT department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide insights with regards to upcoming growth - client plans to double employee count in the next couple of years.
• Collaborate with a driven team, focusing on values, work ethic, acute care, and community engagement.
• Develop and oversee a team of approximately 10 direct reports, including land administrators.
• Assist with the expansion of the organization throughout Texas, working closely with the VP of IT.
• Offer guidance and develop workflows on building strategies to match the needs of facilities.
• Focus on overseeing the IT Operations at a Health System / Hospital, with an emphasis on EHR experience.
• Administer and enhance ongoing collaboration with various departments. Willingness to be onsite and travel to other locations in Houston and Dallas, with potential relocation later.

Key Criteria

• Experience as an IT Director or Manager in a hospital or health system, overseeing IT operations.
• Hands-on, workaholic attitude, matching the drive of the VP of IT.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to San Antonio, Dallas, and other locations in Houston.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and oversee multidisciplinary clinician groups.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required; experience is most important.
• Strong EHR/EMR experience, including configuration and implementation.
• Experience in managing direct reports and contributing to the growth of the health system or hospital.
