Job Description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

The Director of IT Infrastructure & Security is responsible for Sagent’s overall IT security and efficiency infrastructure including installing, configuring, and managing the software, hardware, and networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Enterprise Architecture

oResponsible for establishing Sagent’s IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology including development of departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.

oCommunicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with IT in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.

·IT Infrastructure & Security

oManagement of Sagent’s network servers and overall ownership including installation, configurations, asset lifecycle management.

oMonitor performance and maintenance of systems including new releases, upgrades, models, patching, etc.

oEnsure system and cyber security with correct level of access controls, backups and firewalls, multi-factor authentication, operating within NIST guidelines.

oManage and support scheduled and emergency maintenance windows, lead Change Control Board

oOwnership of LAN, WAN, VLAN, EDI, and other data communication systems including Active Directory

oMaintain and build internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.

oManage outages and troubleshoot reported issues through Sagent’s help desk ticketing system.

oConfigures and manages on premise network, applications, unified communications, audio/video, and disaster recovery failover for multiple locations.

oManages, trains, mentors IT Help Desk team.

oDevelop and maintain SOPs.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to support activities spanning multiple business units: equipment sales, repair sales, field services, and Asset Lifecycle Management programs.


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other degree. Prefer Master of Science

·Experience in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Microsoft Server, VM (Hyper-V, Azure), SQL Server, and DevOps Administration

·CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Security+ / CompTIA Cloud+ / ISC2 CCSP / EC-Council CCSE Certification

·Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, or MCITP certifications preferred

·Experience with Microsoft 365 Exchange Online administration/configuration/troubleshooting (domains, policies, transport rules, etc.)

·In depth Microsoft 365 configuration and administration for MS Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint

·Understanding of Microsoft 365 Licensing administration and best practices

·Cybersecurity and knowledge of system security including intrusion detection systems

·Proven experiences as a system administrator or network administrator

·Minimum of 3 year of previous experience related to IT Management or technology solutions architecture

·Microsoft application suite (Power Apps, Business Intelligence, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint) or similar software

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple activities.

·Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies

·Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles

·Proficient knowledge of the operation and development designs of agile software

·Expertise with content management systems

·Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills.
