Job Description

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a fast-growing food manufacturing company located in Las Vegas who is in search of a Director of Human Resources on a direct hire basis. The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and practices of the company and department, ensuring the organization is in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal labor requirements. Bilingual and food manufacturing experience a plus!

Position Reports to: CEO

Work Schedule: M-F, in office

Compensation: Up to $110K/year, plus benefits!

Responsibilities

  • Administers and oversees the administration of compensation, benefits, and leave programs, employee relations, performance and talent management, recognition and morale, health and safety, and training and development.
  • Develops and implements a departmental budget.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute on the company’s staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies.
  • Conducts research and analysis of the company’s HR and business systems.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training and initiatives to support the company’s human resource needs.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for the team.
  • Monitors and ensures the company’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommended best practices, and reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs and develops and executes best practices for hiring strategies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • 5+ years of progressive human resource management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish, highly desired.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Multi-state experiences, CA preferred.
  • HR Certification a plus.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
