Director Of Global Health Programs

We are seeking a Director of Global Health Programs to lead our efforts in developing and implementing health programs around the world. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global health issues and possess strong leadership and program management skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for global health programs, in line with the organization's mission and objectives

Lead and manage a team of program managers and staff to ensure the effective implementation of health programs

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, non-profit organizations, and community leaders, to ensure that programs are responsive to local needs and priorities

Ensure that program activities are implemented on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Monitor and evaluate program performance, and provide regular reports to the organization's leadership on progress and outcomes

Identify and manage risks associated with program implementation, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as necessary

Represent the organization in meetings and events with stakeholders, and serve as a spokesperson for the organization on global health issues

Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in global health, and incorporate best practices and innovative approaches into program design and implementation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public health, global health, or international development

At least 10 years of experience in program management, including experience managing global health programs

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences

Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective program strategies

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve results

Familiarity with global health issues and an understanding of the factors that contribute to global health

Knowledge of the latest developments and trends in global health, and an ability to incorporate best practices and innovative approaches into program design and implementation

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, often in difficult and challenging environments
