Drippi is an insights and analytics platform for content creators. We build financial tools, intelligence, analytics, and insights, with the goal of unleashing the next billion creators.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Engineering to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team, collaborating closely with the product team, and building systems and processes to support the growth and success of a remote-first engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
• Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Promote a positive work environment, cultivating strong relationships and open communication among team members.
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.

Product Development and Innovation

• Collaborate closely with the product team to define and deliver innovative solutions that drive customer success and meet business objectives.
• Balance technical debt and feature development to maintain a healthy engineering ecosystem.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable products that meet user needs.
• Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to ensure that Drippi remains at the forefront of technological innovation.

Remote Team Infrastructure and Processes:

• Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to support the effective operation of a remote-first engineering team.
• Establish and maintain engineering cadence, including regular stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Ensure clear communication and collaboration among team members, using tools and technologies that support remote work.
• Implement tools and methodologies to monitor, measure, and optimize engineering performance.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience working with remote teams and implementing processes to support remote work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, and a passion for staying informed of industry trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
