Job Description
Are you an seasoned B2B sales professional with experience in franchise development? Do you have a strong track record of success for prospecting and closing in franchise sales? Are you a strong organizational leader who demonstrates excellent communication skills? If you answered yes, we would like to hear from you!


City Wide Franchise is seeking a dynamic leader as the Director of Franchise Development. This position may work remote and is based out of the Corporate office, located in Lenexa, Kansas.


The Director of Franchise Development is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. They will establish, lead, and coordinate all franchise development strategies for City Wide including – managing the franchise sales process from pre-qualification to franchise approval, proactively seeking new franchisee prospects through traditional means, broker networks and international franchise development. This person will collaborate with the President to ensure that franchise development objectives of the company are aligned and executed to drive growth in accordance with the company’s vision and values.


  • Lead future international franchise development.
  • Understand nuances in franchise relations and possess diplomacy expertise.
  • Train, manage, develop Franchise Development department and employees.
  • Participate as an effective member of City Wide’s extended management team and achieving responsible growth according to the strategic plan.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed to fulfill the essential functions.
  • Develop and implement an overall franchise development strategy and achieve annual new franchisee sales goals.
  • Conduct full life-cycle franchise sales individually and through franchise brokers, SEO efforts, Franchisee leads, public relations, and social media networking.
  • Provide oversight and decision-making in all franchise development activities including managing broker relationships, Meet the Team days, and new lead generation activities.
  • Promote and develop a partnership investment-sponsored program for highly qualified general manager prospects.


Requirements


  • Must have a high sense of urgency and goal driven mentality.
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to influence and work well with people.
  • Financial management experience is preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in business, or equivalent experience.
  • Highly preferred – experience selling franchisee licenses in a B2B model, international franchise development, franchise conversions, and Sandler sales experience (or equivalent). Fran-Guard or Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) certification preferred.
  • Adept in business social media
  • Business acquisition experience preferred.
  • Verifiable history of managing broker relationships.
  • 5+ years of Franchise Development experience and proven success in franchise sales with a strong qualifying and closing track record.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM are required.
