DIRECTOR OF FAMILY OFFICE SERVICES – Unique opportunity to join one of Denver’s Premier Family Offices!
The Director of Family Services will play a critical and central role in the family office.
This position is responsible for managing complex discreet issues and delivering a wide variety of services to family members.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF FAMILY OFFICE SERVICES
• Personal estate and financial planning
• Wealth transfer planning and coordination; Family member gifting
• Financial forecasting, individual cash management and cash flow planning
• Personal investment support (e.g., coordination with investment managers, individual asset allocation, etc.)
• Charitable giving process advice and support
• Estate settlement coordination and support
• Coordinate and proactively communicate with our private trust company team, Tax Director, VP of Operations, tax preparers, investment team, insurance agents, bankers, and other professional service providers, etc.
• Special projects
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF FAMILY OFFICE SERVICES
• CPA, JD, or CFP, bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Ten plus years of relevant accounting and planning experience for high-net worth individuals. Experience reviewing tax returns for high-net worth individuals is beneficial
• Commitment to client service and confidentiality
• Working knowledge of trusts, estates, financial planning, and investments
• Working knowledge of various entity structures, including partnerships and trusts
• Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills
• Strong project management skills
• Proven relationship skills and ability to work with all levels of employees in cross-functional teams
• Established and strong presentation skills; well-refined communication skills
• History of problem-solving and continuous pursuit of excellence
• Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office
COMPENSATION
Target Annual Salary Range: Compensation: $175,000 - $250,000. Benefits include generous continuing professional development opportunities, medical, dental, life and LTD insurance, and 401k participation, vacation and medical leave
