THE OPPORTUNITY

The Director of Employer Experience is a leadership role, that both manages and oversee the strategy, planning and execution of the organization’s overall employer experience and sales goals. This includes liaising with other department heads to ensure all other teams contribute equally to providing employers with seamless experience across touchpoints. The Director of Employer Experience is responsible for creating, managing, and executing the employer experience and sales strategy of the organization.

We seek candidates with experience building and growing corporate partnerships and/or sales relationships (including lead generation, business development, relationship and account management, sales, and negotiation experience). Experience in the technology industry is important to be able to understand the market and players, products, processes, and technology stacks for which skilled talent is needed. Success in this role is measured by reaching sales goals and achievement of employment opportunities for our graduates under our corporate fee structure, meeting the team’s monthly and yearly job obtainment goals of 70% or more hired within 4 months and 80% hired within 12 months.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop processes, procedures, and monitoring to add new employers and to increase earned income from employer partners to achieve annual goals.
  • Enable a two-way stream with customer facing teams through – collecting feedback from customer facing teams to derive meaningful insights for improvements and; guiding teams to ensure a customer-centric attitude while acquiring new customers or dealing with existing customers, especially guiding the marketing, branding and sales teams to align with the larger Customer Experience strategy.
  • Listen to employer needs, ensure excellent customer service, be responsive to customer needs.
  • Establish service levels and requirements for the Employer Experience team.
  • Analyze trends, opportunities, and companies within the industry that will help you develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market and our competitors.
  • Develop an employer sales strategy in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This will include sector and occupational analysis and include informational interviews with existing employer partners and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement training and quality assurance programs for new hires and experienced employees.
  • Consistently deliver great end-to-end customer experience across stages, channels, and touchpoints in the customer journey.
  • Integrate closely with the Learner Success team to make good matches between jobs and graduates.
  • Establish performance metrics and manage sales team, account managers and apprenticeship managers.
  • Implement a local, enterprise-level strategy with a goal of sustainably securing 5-10 employer accounts to place a minimum of 80% of cohort graduates; this will include a full client cycle from networking and prospecting, through initial stage relationship management, to successfully landing and fulfilling a volume job order, with high employer satisfaction.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION

  • Success in planning and leading effective negotiations that align with financial objectives
  • Knowledge of key IT industry trends, understanding of Colorado’s technical talent market, and prior relationships with companies
  • Customer empathy with demonstrated ability to add value to customers and attain a deep understanding of customers’ business goals.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Deep understanding and connection (C-level) to the local market business community with a focus on tech and tech enabled enterprises
  • Experience consulting / advising clients, including experience presenting to senior executives (C-Level), operational managers, and both technical and non-technical staff.
  • 5+ years advanced sales experience required, preferably in IT, including an understanding of how to move a nuanced sales cycle forward across influencers, decision-makers, buyers, and users of the service.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, persuasion, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity in the development of solutions to diverse customer needs, including requirements documents, statements of work and contracts.
  • Data driven mindset and aptitude for technology.
  • Advanced ability to close deals.
  • Track record of excellent relationships with partners and executives

WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PROVIDING
