Our Client, a well positioned leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a skilled professional to join their growing team and drive strategic initiatives on a global scale. This individual will be leading strategic sourcing initiatives with a prime focus on emerging technologies and services within the Renewables industry.

The Director Global Procurement will be responsible for:

• Leading the competitive bid process across potential suppliers
• Serving as the primary POC for all inquiries internally and externally for developments
• Identification and negotiation of commodities for the development of renewable energy assets
• Taking into account TCO when assessing suppliers and their ability to provide and support agreed upon services for timelines that can span a decade
• Acquiring market intel to support internal stakeholders on strategic growth initiatives

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

• 10+ Years' experience in procurement/strategic sourcing tied to direct materials and products
• Proficiency in utilization of analytics tools including, but not limited to, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL
• Prior experience working with vendors on a global platform
• BS in Engineering or BA in Finance (MBA preferred)
