Job Description

StevenDouglas has been retained on a fantastic Director of Procurement opportunity in Texas. This is a remote role.

The Role : Director of Procurement This role is building the function from scratch over time; systems, processes, contracts, standard costs, supply chain.


More specifically Procurement Director will be responsible for:

  • Physical inventory counts
  • Perpetual vs. periodic inventory
  • Enterprise-wide preference cards & standards
  • Vendor rationalization
  • Vendor contracts & negotiation


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field

Minimum 8-10 years of expertise with Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing

Must have Healthcare related industry experience
