PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Director of Digital & Marketing Services Delivery is a trusted strategic partner to marketing teams, brand partners, subject matter experts, and leaders throughout the global organization. The Director of Digital & Marketing Services Delivery is accountable for increasing organizational efficiency, agility and value through operational strategy and strong delivery on marketing investment.
The Director of Digital & Marketing Services Delivery is responsible for leading a team of integrated business partners, driving marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and engagement. This individual will be charged with driving brand goals and objectives forward and is responsible for connecting marketing strategies to digital strategies to achieve business results. This position will leverage digital and marketing services channels to drive growth, awareness, engagement, and retention across Fresenius Medical Care audiences.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Well-versed in traditional marketing services channels: call center, marketing data operations, mass email communications, project management.
- Comprehensive understanding of key digital channels: website, SEO, digital content, paid media, social media, etc.
- Advise our brand partners through digital and marketing services efforts.
- Represent the Digital Strategy & Operations team on marketing and brand work groups. This will require interaction with marketing teams, brand partners, subject matter experts, and leaders across the organization.
- Lead a team of trusted strategic business partners in the execution of single-channel projects and multi-channel campaigns.
· Develops and manages content and message across multiple media.
- Manage direct reports through mentorship, development and evaluating performance against goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Anticipates and influences client needs to deliver efficient and effective solutions. Maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Identifies, develops, and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and within and outside of own job function.
- The position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations.
- Cultivate a data-driven mentality with emphasis on analysis, insight, and recommended action.
- Works with creative studio, external agencies, and internal teams to develop and implement channel specific creative and content.
- The ideal candidate thinks creatively, understands the role of content in informing digital projects and programs, forges strong relationships at all levels of the organization and collaborates effectively with colleagues.
- Keep up-to-date and implement industry best practices and technology to drive traffic and engagement.

SUPERVISION:
· Responsible for the direct supervision of a staff of four; Manager, Senior Manager, and contractor roles.
EDUCATION:
· BS/BA in Marketing, Digital, Communications, Liberal Arts; Advanced Degree desirable
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
· 8-10 years of digital marketing experience in a communications, media, or marketing role.
· Energetic self-starter who is disciplined and understands the big picture.
· Strong leadership skills - effectively communicates with authority and confidence, while building strong relationships with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and agency team members.
· Strategic and creative thinker - contributes to the development of high-level concepts, as well as extending concepts creatively into all digital and marketing channels.
· Cross-channel/account management experience - in-depth understanding of cross-channel marketing, particularly in the digital space (i.e. SEO, SEM, social, content, digital media, email marketing, mobile). Understanding of how brand, content marketing, PR, email marketing, and social media interact and bolster the overarching brand initiatives and goals.
· Proven ability to develop and advise on integrated digital/marketing strategies.
· Well-versed in digital analytics and makes data-driven decisions.
· Baseline knowledge of marketing automation platforms and data management
· Excellent communications skills (written, visual, verbal, presentation).
· Ability to partner and work seamlessly across business functions.
· Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple, sometimes complex, processes.

· A breadth of knowledge across digital platforms, media, analytics, marketing channels.
· Strategic digital marketing skills and experience leading cross-functional project teams.
· Multi-channel marketing expertise
· Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues at all levels, and influence others without formal authority.
· Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or related fields preferred.
