Position Description


The Director, Brand Experience is responsible for working with the Vice President, NA Marketing in the strategic development and implementation of all brand experiences for the Coach brand. This position will contribute to the creation of meaningful and impactful experiences and retail marketing that garner press, increase brand awareness, foster strong community relations, increase traffic and brand love for Coach.


An important member of the NA Marketing team, this person will serve as a team leader while employing an innovative, collaborative, results-oriented and consumer-first approach to lead and drive the production of high-quality experiences in and out of stores.


Job Responsibilities


  • Directs partners and vendors to ensure brilliant execution of all programs.
  • Working with internal cross functional teams, understands business goals and develops NA focused expressions of visual experience Global direction appropriate for NA market consumers.
  • In collaboration with the Vice President, develops the objectives, strategies and directs the execution of Coach’s signature brand and store experiences.
  • Assists the Vice President, with the identification of potential partners, programs, events, and moments that will be key to success in the NA market.
  • Negotiates with venues, partners, vendors to secure rates and fees that enhance budgets.

The ideal candidate has:


  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends during event moments.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
  • Prior supervisor experience and strong leadership skills.
  • 6+ years’ experience in directing events, brand experience and retail marketing programs.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, comfort with challenging situations, desire to drive innovation and understanding of target audience.
  • Proven strong negotiating skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively cross functionally, display superior judgment managing agencies and vendors, working with the field team.
