Summary:

We are looking for a Director of Clinical Informatics and Innovation to provide leadership and accountability for the integration of clinical expertise, computer science, and informatics for the design, development, implementation, adoption and optimization of clinical technology systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising-
Formally responsible for supervising the following:
  • Project Managers
  • Clinical Informatics Specialists
  • Managers
  • Assistant Directors
  • Application Coordinators
  • Clinical project team members
The Director will provide strategic leadership of the clinical informatics program, lead the selection, design, development, optimization and implementation of clinical informatics systems, establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with leaders and colleagues, and lead the design, development, and dissemination of data analytics and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

Education and experience:
  • Current RN Licensure by the Texas Board of Nurses
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business, or Healthcare related field
  • 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years of management/leadership experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Certification in Nursing Informatics.
