Position Summary:

We are looking for a results focused, seasoned Talent Director to build out Veyl Venture’s growing roster of celebrity brand partners, brand ambassadors, social influencers and on camera health and wellness experts who work on large scale paid social, digital and linear broadcast marketing campaigns in support of Veyl’s portfolio of health and wellness products.

Essential Duties:

• Oversee outreach and baseline negotiations with potential health and wellness experts, their managers, agents, and attorneys, working closely with Veyl attorneys to close deals with new talent.
• Responsible for identifying media-friendly health and wellness experts to contribute to our marketing campaigns and slate of Veyl produced complementary health and wellness programming.
• Oversee outreach and baseline negotiations with potential celebrity and social influencer brand partners and brand ambassadors, their managers, agents, and attorneys, working closely with Veyl attorneys to close deals with new talent.
• Responsible for identifying new strategic celebrity and social influencer brand partners and brand ambassadors, and pitching them to Veyl senior management on a regular basis.
• Verify and track all talent contracts and work practices to ensure they are compliant with union guidelines when talent is affiliated with a union (like SAG/AFTRA).
• Partner with Creative Team to integrate all new on-camera talent into productions, managing some of the talent needs leading up to and during filming and associated PR appearances.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with on camera talent contract deals and current scales for A, B and C list talent in the brand marketing space.
• Experience collaborating with attorneys on short and long form talent contracts.
• Experience working with talent affiliated with SAG/AFTRA and other talent unions.
• Deep knowledge of and interest in pop culture, what and who is trending on social media and in the Entertainment business in general. Interest in and knowledge of health and wellness trends is a bonus.
• Familiarity with social influencer contract deals and scales for micro and macro influencers in the brand marketing space.
• Inherent problem-solving skills, possessing the experience, intellect and know-how to analyze, plan, execute and deliver top-notch results on a consistent basis.
• At least 5-10 years experience as a talent agent, manager or “booker” working closely with A-list Entertainment talent. Additional experience working with broadcast TV news and talk show talent is a plus.
• Extensive experience working with top tier talent agencies like WME, CAA, UTA and ICM.
