Job Description
Job Summary Statement


The Digital Production Designer – Creative will be responsible for the design of digital assets as directed by Art Director. Digital Production Designer will focus on executing high volume production tasks. The ideal candidate will have an expert command of graphic design software, ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment, and have an understanding of ecommerce and the impact of graphic assets in converting sales. The Digital Production Designer will be based in Katy, TX and report into the Creative Services Manager.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Fulfill other graphic design briefs as directed by Creative Services Manager
  • As a member of a high-performance team, participate in meetings, work collaboratively, assist team members and be assisted by team members in order to execute tasks on time and in budget
  • Deliver assets to spec of project briefs
  • Responsible for the development of digital graphics used in the promotion of product and brand initiatives across multiple digital platforms


Minimum Requirements and Qualifications


  • Must possess ability to understand briefs / direction, design and deliver finished product to spec and on time
  • An understanding of brand image and positioning and how it relates to graphic design
  • Advanced knowledge and skill with Adobe design suite of software, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Ability to design moving images, gifs, edit video a plus
  • BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills to discuss project briefs with brief writer, present work product to supervisor and team
  • Experience working with project management software and a Digital Asset Management tool
  • Two (2) years of experience in graphic design for a consumer goods brand
