Job Description

We are a leading digital marketing agency specializing in promoting artists and creative talents worldwide. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Expert to join our team and enhance the visibility of one of our clients, a renowned fine artist, among various target audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing the client as a prominent figure in the art world and expanding his presence in the United States, Japan, and globally.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to promote the client as a fine artist to targeted audiences including press, galleries, collectors, interior designers, and museums.

Cultivate relationships with key members of the press in the United States and Asia, focusing on major art publications, journalists, and influential bloggers. Pitch and secure feature articles, interviews, and reviews to generate media coverage for the client and his artwork.

Coordinate with gallery owners and managers in the United States and Japan to organize gallery shows and exhibitions featuring the client’s artwork. Collaborate on promotional materials, press releases, and invitations to ensure successful event planning and execution.

Identify, engage, and build relationships with collectors of contemporary art in the United States and internationally. Develop targeted communication strategies to promote the client’s artwork and facilitate sales opportunities.

Collaborate with interior designers in the United States to showcase the client’s artwork in high-profile residential and commercial projects. Provide them with information, visuals, and support to integrate the client’s artwork into their designs and create mutually beneficial partnerships.

Liaise with museums in the United States and globally to explore exhibition opportunities for the client’s artwork. Coordinate loan agreements, artwork transportation, and installation logistics to ensure successful collaborations.

Monitor and analyze PR campaign performance, media mentions, and audience engagement. Prepare regular reports to track progress and make data-driven recommendations for future PR initiatives.

Stay updated with industry trends, art market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and strategies for promoting the client’s artwork.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience in public relations, preferably in the art or creative industry. Experience working with fine artists, galleries, and museums is highly desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Japanese or other languages is a plus.

Strong network and established relationships with key members of the press, galleries, collectors, interior designers, and museums in the United States and internationally.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.

Creative thinker with a keen eye for identifying unique angles and storylines to pitch to the media.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools to track PR campaign performance.

Knowledge of the contemporary art market and understanding of art industry dynamics.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

If you are passionate about the art world and have a proven track record in PR, we would love to hear from you.

To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and a portfolio of successful PR campaigns you have worked on. Only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
