The Westgate Resorts digital marketing department is looking to hire an Intern Multimedia Designer to assist in the day to day design and creation of experiential marketing through stills, video, and motion graphics across multiple marketing channels. This person should be detail oriented, creative, must be a team player and should be able to multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and part of a team
• Create, edit and produce engaging videos in support of business objectives that will be distributed across different marketing channels that includes, but is not limited to: emails, landing pages, cross-channel marketing campaigns, digital banners, social media, websites and other marketing collateral.
• Communicate and create travel inspiration through visuals, animations and video
• Assist and, at times, shoot video and/or take photos for video project footage
• Collaborate with fellow Design team, Director of Digital Creative and strategy leaders to assist in the creation effective experiences
• Design and create graphic elements to be used in video projects
• Other duties assigned
• Formulate storyboards or pre-visualization to effectively plan before projects are started

• Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail
• Poses unrestricted U.S. work authorization for the duration of the program.
• Knowledge of HTML5 a plus but not required
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• Adept at multi-tasking
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
• Digital Portfolio that demonstrates the candidate’s design, abilities is required
• Currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited U.S. College, university, or higher education program
• This is an on-location position (no telecommuting)
• Experience in video recording and editing desired
• Local candidates only as No Relocation compensation will be offered
