JOB MISSION:

The Digital Marketing Associate, is responsible for supporting the planning, development and execution of triggered, promotional, and branded campaigns across all digital marketing channels. Looking to connect with new and existing customers alike, the Digital Marketing associate will have a consumer first approach and be able to implement strategic marketing plans to maximize the goals and potential of the overall JNBO strategy. Analytical, organizational, and project management skills, coupled with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are.

Reporting - This position will report to the JNBO Ecommerce Manager

Location – This position will be based in the Boston, MA office


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Serve as an expert on our marketing calendar, key product or promotional stories, and competitive marketing strategies; will use this expertise to identify and propose creative campaign ideas or optimizations to existing campaigns within all channels
  • Work cross-functionally with the wider JNBO planning, site, merch, creative, and analytics teams to ensure we are serving the right message at the right time to our customers, resulting in successfully executed integrated marketing and business efforts
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase marketing spend efficiency by further investing in areas of channels that are working or amending current plans to become more efficient
  • Prescribe an monitor marketing budgets distributed to vendors and agencies to ensure optimal efficacy of the marketing spend
  • Independently analyze the performance of marketing campaigns against forecasted KPIs and lead the development and presentation of insights and action plans to the wider team through thorough reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Collaborate with and prescribe direction to vendors and agencies used by the business within the Search, Affiliate, Display, Email and Marketplace channels always ensuring transparency and accuracy of messaging and plans
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure prompt communication and delivery of projects and reports at all times
  • Initiate and lead projects with Creative Teams to develop and bring to market new and innovative email concepts and affiliate publisher campaigns
  • Serve as an expert on our customers, always advocating their POV across each marketing channel or touchpoint required to acquire new consumers and retain existing consumers
  • Be a custodian of the brand image in the marketplace by always aligning to the correct brand guidelines and ensuring the marketing channels are continuously brand compliant

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated, creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Sales Force Commerce Cloud and its functionality
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in ecommerce, digital advertising and/or user experience preferred
  • Collaborative, action-oriented team player who will always prioritize the needs of the business and teams around them
  • Ability to prioritize competing high-priority projects simultaneously and always deliver requests on time
  • Strong analytical skills of consumer retention, acquisition and incrementality across the search, affiliate, email and display marketing channels
  • An inquisitive nature with strong research and analytical skills to always validate strategy
  • Understanding of the affiliate publisher landscape in North America
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively organize and present thoughts in a clear and concise manner

Flexible Work Schedule

New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
