Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Beauty Photographer to join our creative team based in New York. As a freelance photographer, you will collaborate with various clients in the fashion, lifestyle, and beauty industries to capture stunning visuals for their campaigns. Your primary focus will be on creating captivating imagery that highlights the beauty and essence of our clients' products or services. This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional technical skills, artistic vision, and the ability to deliver high-quality work on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop unique concepts and ideas for photo shoots. Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in beauty and fashion photography to bring fresh perspectives to each project.
• Image Editing and Retouching: Utilize your expertise in post-production techniques to edit and retouch images, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. Enhance the beauty and appeal of the subjects while maintaining the authenticity of the brand.
• Equipment and Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest photography equipment, software, and industry trends. Ensure all gear is well-maintained, functioning properly, and ready for use on each assignment.
• Client Collaboration: Maintain effective communication and build strong working relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and delivering results that exceed their expectations. Adapt to their feedback and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired outcome.
• Photoshoot Execution: Plan and execute photoshoots, including organizing the necessary equipment, scouting suitable locations, arranging models, hair and makeup artists, and stylists. Direct the shoot to ensure optimal lighting, composition, and overall visual impact.
• Campaign Photography: Collaborate with clients to understand their brand vision and campaign objectives. Create compelling visual narratives that align with the client's aesthetic, while showcasing their products or services in the most appealing way.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate w clients, models, and creative teams.
• Proficient in digital photography techniques, equipment, and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of color grading and retouching techniques to enhance the overall aesthetics of the images.
• In-depth knowledge of the beauty and fashion industries, including the latest trends and styles.
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of composition, lighting, and creativity.
• Knowledge of New York's fashion and beauty scene is a plus.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and client feedback.
• Proven experience as a professional photographer, with a focus on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle campaigns.
