Job Type 12+ month contract- with potential for hire

The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Desktop Technician. We are looking for a qualified Desktop/Computer Technician to install, maintain and repair computers.


  • Remote Access Tools – RDP, Dameware, Goto assist
  • Prior user support, desktop experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel
  • Installing Legacy Software on W10
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
  • Desktop Management Suite to load software like Altiris SCCM or KACE
  • Ticketing Software (iSupport, TrackIT, Remedy)
  • Registry with Windows 10 & NTFS
  • Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain secure
  • Maintain and repair computers, laptops and peripheral devices
  • Printer support/maintenance
  • Experience troubleshooting Office 365, Outlook, Lotus Notes
  • Hardware troubleshooting adding/swapping memory, power supplies, memory on desktops or laptops
  • Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
  • Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
  • AD Active Directory experience / adding PCs to Domains
  • Experience with setting up VPN's
  • Hard drive encryption
