Desktop Support Analyst Jobs

We have an immediate opening for a desktop support analyst with a leading medical device company.

The ideal candidate will provide tailored service to the 200-300 employees in the division, and will perform a variety of typical help desk activities.

This is an on-site role in Morton Grove, Illinois.

Strong communication skills are a must, and the candidate must be able to work the 7am-4pm Central time shift.

Requirements

• Able to help guests and potentially executive visitors with connecting to guest wireless network and using conference rooms.
• Able to work well under pressure or time sensitive parameters, demands for executive guests.
• Aptitude for helping users with troubleshooting conference room audio and visual equipment including conference telephone and monitors used for sharing computer displays, as well as installing drivers used to connect computer and TV for transmitting the display.
• Experience with managing asset stock (hardware and wires for PCs and laptops and keep well organized for setting up new hires).
• Microsoft Office 365/ One Drive/ Windows 10 is helpful.
• Mac experience is required.
• Ability to support Microsoft Active Directory troubleshooting and maintenance only such as Group memberships, will not add users or create accounts.
• IT support experience with Windows 7/Microsoft Office 2013 required.
• Technical college or 4 year degree required (any IT field is acceptable).
• Minimum 4 years experience in desktop/PC/Mac support (needs to be able to work without supervision).
• Desktop support experience is with assembling computers, deploying software and assigning to new hires as well as breaking down and managing assets with employees exiting company.
