Job Role: Design Strategist

Profile Overview:

We're looking for a highly collaborative facilitator, strategic thinker, and expert in Design Thinking/human-centered design. In addition, this person will need to be passionate about creating the best possible experience for our client's customers, getting ALL ideas out on the table, and educating clients about Design Thinking along the way. A "curator of ideas", this person will play a key role in partnering with various roles to evolve existing experiences and solve new problems through Design Thinking methods like co-creation, ideation sessions, and prototyping.

This role is at the sweet spot of innovation, right at the intersection of human needs and business impact. This person will be meeting with workshop sponsors to understand their goals, prepare the workshop agendas and material, facilitate the workshop, and then provide deliverables to the client based on your recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Author user stories for the development of the products we pitch
• Define and design the UX of the products we create for our clients
• Create personas and user journeys for clients
• Help build a practice of human-centered design in our innovation labs.
• Research best-in-class experiences for the users of our clients
• Design and execute workshops for clients

Qualifications and requirements:

• Familiarity with collaboration, design, and prototyping tools such as Miro, Figma, and Adobe XD
• Comfort and ease in customer-facing meetings (pitching and planning sessions) and workshops (facilitating).
• Experience with leading client-facing projects with enterprise customers
• 3-5 years of experience with hands-on experience with mobile, web application, and responsive Product Design
• Experience working on consumer digital products
• Experience with client negotiation and setting expectations against real-world limitations
• 3-5 years of experience with hands-on experience with planning, facilitating, and co-delivering design thinking-led workshops
• Candidates must be familiar with many Design Thinking methods and match the suitable approach to the problem being solved.
