Design Assistant (Intern)
BIG is looking for talented architecture students who are eager to learn and develop their skills as Design Assistants (Interns) in our NYC office, beginning in July 2023.
Requirements:
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, Rhino, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and physical modelmaking
  • Available for at least 6 months
  • Candidates with a graduate degree are ineligible; candidates with a B.Arch who are not currently enrolled in a graduate program are also ineligible
  • Ability to take initiative in response to direction or instructions
  • Must be an architecture student with at least 2 years of school experience
  • A flexible attitude towards new ways of working
  • Great interpersonal communication skills
Compensation for Design Assistants is $15 per hour, plus overtime. Design Assistants are also eligible for BIG's competitive benefits package.
