Job Description
Pay Range: $78,900.00-$126,200.00 Company Overview:

In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.
  • Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks a Dental Assistant Supervisor at its new state-of-the-art cancer treatment center in Manhattan’s Upper East Side (74th St - David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care). This facility offers the highest standards of comprehensive cancer care delivered by MSK oncologists, in an environment designed to meet the unique needs of cancer patients and their families.

You will!
  • Assist in oversight and development of clinical programs/projects/operations necessary for the smooth functioning of the service.
  • Assist in the provision of all dental services such as extractions, biopsies and insertion of archwires.
  • Act as a dental assistant, as necessary.
  • Ensure provision of quality dental assistant services from pediatrics to adults.
  • Conduct and coordinate with the manager in the recruitment and hiring of qualified staff to fulfill needs of service.
  • Assist in management and supervision of dental assistants to ensure efficient functioning of operations.
  • Provide ongoing professional and clinical development of Dental Assistants individually and as a team unit.
  • Ensures appropriate orientation and ongoing development of staff.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance schedules of clinical equipment and ordering of all clinical dental supplies and equipment, as well as the annual renewal of vendor maintenance service and supply contracts.

You have!
  • Knowledge of First Aid, including CPR
  • A High School Diploma/GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
  • Dental Assistant Course preferred

Pay Range $78,900.00-$126,200.00
