Data Warehouse Analyst Jobs

Title: Data Warehouse Analyst
Location: Orlando, Fl
Duration: 12-month contract
Compensation: 60- 65 an hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

• Requires knowledge of, but not limited to SQL, Oracle, and other skills for large system monitoring.
• Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
• Recommends changes to systems or operations where needed.
• Uses data mining and data analysis tools to isolate and extract data based on specific parameters and monitors transaction data flow to identify any inconsistencies.
• Performs queries, analyses, and evaluation of data in a data warehouse environment.
• Reviews and validates data in the data warehouse for accuracy.
• Performs regular monitoring and trend analysis of system performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong technical writing (reports and SOPs) experience, for all levels of the organization utilizing MSOffice, Visio, Share Point or similar applications.
• Willingness to learn new tools and skills and cross train.
• 3+ years SQL experience.
• 3+ years Excel experience including functions and formulas.
• Ability to work on multiple projects across the organization collaboratively and proactively.
• 5+ years of experience as Data Analyst.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skill.
• Strong oral communication skills.

 
Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience of software and hardware testing.
• Experience Windows server 2008 and above.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Linux Unix background and PowerShell scripting.
