About Our Internship Program
During this paid 10-week internship you’ll develop technical skills by taking on meaningful project work and unique learning experiences. This position will be fully remote during the internship with the exception of 1 week.
Our interns will connect and engage with senior leaders from across the business and be paired with a mentor for a more meaningful experience. You’ll attend fun team building and professional development workshops and brown bags.
This position will begin June 2023
Overview
The Data Science and Engineering team at LegalZoom helps us make measurably better decisions, faster. We do this through everything from shaping our operational strategy in Sales, Care and Fulfillment to identifying opportunities and implementing solutions.
You will

• Extracting insights from data, and summarizing learnings/takeaways
• Design and run experiments to test our hypotheses, including defining metrics that enable us to understand product experience
• Work with fellow data scientists to continually improve our code and data best practices, prioritizing long-term data hygiene
• Contribute new ideas and articulate them

You have

• A curiosity to learn (with guidance)
• Must have at least 2 completed internships
• Extra points if you have experience with Tableau and python
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Google Suite
• Possess excellent problem solving skills
• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a computer/technical field
• Strong attention to detail
• Great communication skills

LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $50 per hour.
For onsite roles or roles that require periodic onsite visits, LegalZoom requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
