Software Engineering Intern, Web/Seo (Summer 2023)

As a Software Engineering Intern at Bezel, you’ll be working alongside other passionate individuals to apply cutting-edge solutions in developing modern and polished applications. Together, the products we build will change the way the world shops for watches.

As an early member of the team, you’ll not only have ownership of core architecture and design decisions, but you’ll also be integral in defining the engineering culture at the company as we scale.

What You'll Do:

• Build and manage tools critical to the success of Bezel and it's supply chain
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization such as product, operations, marketing, and security leads
• Partner with the Growth/Marketing team to drive projects geared toward improving Bezel's search relevancy

• Have exposure to SEO best practices, PageSpeed Insights, and Search ranking
• Thrive in a collaborative environment involving multiple stakeholders
• Enjoy tackling hard problems and seeing their solutions through to the end
• Have experience working with web applications in React
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
• Can adapt quickly to changing product requirements and reason clearly about product and security trade-offs
• Have a passion for watches and fine craftsmanship

• Web: TypeScript, React and NextJS
• Backend: Java, JAX-RS, SQL, and Elasticsearch
• Infrastructure: Docker and Jetty / NGINX on Google Cloud

There is potential for this role to convert into a part-time position starting Fall 2023.
