Lido Advisors, LLC, an established and growing wealth management firm with over $11B in assets, is seeking highly motivated students who are driven to learn the industry, our clients, and the firm, as a Summer Intern based in Century City, CA.
As a Summer Intern, you will work closely with industry experts. The Lido Internship program is a paid internship that provides hands-on experience in our legal, compliance, and risk department. The Legal & Compliance Intern will also have the opportunity to work with other departments within the firm, including investment management, operations, and client services, to gain a holistic understanding of our business and the regulatory landscape in which we operate.
Industry experts and leaders will provide mentorship and guide the intern through meaningful projects while gaining invaluable knowledge. The Legal & Compliance Intern will work closely with the Legal & Compliance team to gain practical experience in the field of regulatory compliance for registered investment advisers. The intern will be responsible for assisting with various compliance-related tasks, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance of compliance records and documentation.
- Participate in Legal and Compliance meetings and contribute to the due diligence of operational processes.
- Research applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Implement and maintain compliance program to meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and enhance project management tool for the Compliance team.
- Ad hoc projects as directed by the legal, compliance, and risk team.
- Adhere to the firm’s control policies and procedures.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or juris degree in Business, Finance, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in the Century City, CA office at least 2 days per week.
- Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Highly organized with attention to detail in producing and proofing materials and meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated teamwork balanced with the ability to handle independent work.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range below is an estimate and may be modified in the future.
