Content Operations Intern (Summer 2023)

Tapas Entertainment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Content Operations Intern to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our webcomics series meet our content guidelines, assisting with project coordination, and helping with communication and information-sharing across teams. As an ideal candidate, you're an avid reader of Tapas content, have a passion for webcomics and webnovels, have the ability to balance multiple projects, and possess strong organizational and writing skills. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Content Ops/Localization and the Content Ops Associate and provide additional support to the Localization team.

• This is a 6-month paid internship that begins in the Summer of 2023

Responsibilities:

• Edit and organize documents, including updating guides, proofreading changes, and creating presentation slides
• Upload series to our content management system and perform file-checking
• Assist the Content Ops Associate with determining the earliest dates for season returns and season/series finale dates for ongoing titles (webcomics and webnovels)
• Work cross-functionally with other teams
• Assist with various small projects relating to tracking the lifecycle of our premium titles and performance of new releases
• Review webcomic series to ensure they comply with our content guidelines and add appropriate keyword tags
• Write short-form content, such as briefs and blurbs

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Korean (preferred)
• Passionate about webcomics, particularly Korean and Chinese webcomics
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Dropbox
• Currently in your final year or recent graduate
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Monday.com, CMS
• Highly organized with experience using Google Sheets and Basecamp (or similar project management software)
• Able to work 25-30 hours per week and ability to come into our El Segundo office as needed
