Data Developer Ii (Azure Data Factory) - Remote

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented Data Developer II that works independently and assists on key strategic projects as related to data infrastructure, reporting, data triage, master data management, and other related data initiatives. This position will closely partner with ET&S (Enterprise Technology & Services), business and operation teams.

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

• Develop and design solutions with security as a critical design requirement for data, systems, and applications.
• Follow industry standards and advances on data driven technologies and tools.
• Create enterprise level end-to-end data flow diagrams and logical data models.
• Document data development best practices and enterprise level data flow diagrams.
• Develop complex SQL, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and SSIS workflows for various reporting and data development projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Must possess good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL stack including T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Financial industry knowledge.
• Experience with Snowflake technologies is a plus
• Must be detail focused.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools including MS Visio.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate the complex to simple and easier terms for business leaders and users of data.
• Agile methodologies.
• Data development within a PCI environment.
• Experience developing Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines
• Ability to analyze enterprise level data sources and determine relationships between those sources as well as determine methodologies for integration with third-party data sets.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• College degree in CIS, Data Management, Data Analytics, or equivalent training and/or experience.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a data function or equivalent position where primary responsibility is working with data, database design and data development is the primary responsibility.

For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:

$60,400.00 - $75,500.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
