Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in healthcare and analytics tools. Minimum of 5+ years experience in data analytics and machine learning platform architecture. Expert knowledge of AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Data Virtualizarion and AI/ML technologies.
- Bachelors, masters, or PhD Degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, computer science, physics, economics, engineering, statistics, operations research, etc.).
Responsibilities:
1. End-to-end data architectural accountability for defining and refining enterprise architecture for data platform supporting integration of internal systems, external data integration, data and machine learning pipelines that delivers and array of data and analytics solutions.
2. Collaboratively work with functional specialists and have discussions to understand and document the domain requirements and problems. Understand industry practices and tools to extract the entities, attributes and underlying rules to document them.
3. Design conceptual, logical and physical data models that support business objectives. Develop and document the data modeling standards and promote them across the department. Drive long-term data architecture roadmaps in alignment with corporate strategic objectives.
4. Propose architecture that enables integration of disparate enterprise data assets.
5. Objectively review/analyze data models, and propose replacement models with clear pros/cons. Able to adjust models for operational performance and reusability. Conduct data model reviews to ensure data related standards are met. Work closely with DBAs to optimize physical model performance.
6. Advanced skills working with teams on architecture and administration of Big Data platforms - Data Warehouses (Oracle), Hadoop, AWS Data lake Technologies (S3, Glue, Redshift, RDS), Azure Data lake Technologies (Data Bricks and Azure Data Factory), Snowflake Data Lake Consumption Layer Technologies, and experience with ML, And Data Science platforms (Sagemaker).
7. Participate in the development and management of data management and Machine Learning pipelines in AWS, Azure, Snowflake using Python, Jave, Snowpipe and other ELT tools such as dbt.
8. Collaborate with the Data Integration architecture involving real-time streaming, batch and micro-batch for both cloud and on premise applications.
9. Collaborate in the development of data and machine learning implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
10. Participate in the strategy around data modeling that facilitates both operational insights and reporting as well as enabling advanced AI/ML models in order to develop data-driven recommendations.
11. Advanced knowledge and understanding of MSMC applications’ dimensional data models used for analytics needs. Advanced knowledge in navigating MSMC applications’ data dictionaries.
12. Possess deep understanding of data modeling that faciitates both operational insights and reporting as well an enabling advanced AI/ML models in order to develop data-driven recommendations. Work with training team to upskill team members as necessary.
13. Possess strong understanding of Micro-Services and container-based development using Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem. Work wih training team to upskill team members as necessary.
14. Possess a culture of technical excellence by participating in code and design reviews, promoting mentorship, and identifying and promoting educational opportunities for engineers.
